CourtBeam legal
CourtBeam Player Terms
These terms apply to personal use of CourtBeam websites, a club portal, a CourtBeam mobile application, a Club-branded mobile application, or a CourtBeam player account. The club named in the portal provides the venue and sporting service. CourtBeam provides the software and payment integration. The contracting platform entity is PicklePro Tech LLC, operating as CourtBeam. By accepting these Terms when presented, you agree to them. Using the website does not by itself consent to optional tracking. The Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice and transaction-specific club terms explain related practices and obligations.
1. Account and eligibility
Provide accurate information, keep access credentials private and use only your own account. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live. A club may require a parent/guardian process for minors; CourtBeam does not knowingly create independent accounts for children under 13 without an approved parental consent flow. Do not use another person’s identity or phone number.
2. Club relationship
The club controls its courts, facilities, coaches, events, membership rules, prices, waiver, cancellation policy, safety instructions and refunds. A booking or membership does not guarantee that the venue will be open if the club must close for weather, maintenance, safety or law. Contact the club for venue or service questions; contact CourtBeam for account or platform support.
2A. Mobile application and branding
The mobile application is licensed software operated by CourtBeam for the benefit of the named Club. A Club-branded name, logo, color scheme, icon or store listing does not transfer ownership of the application, source code, platform, generic features or CourtBeam trademarks to the Club or to an individual owner. CourtBeam may update, configure, suspend or discontinue the application as permitted by the Platform Terms and Mobile App and White-Label Distribution Addendum.
You may use the application only on a device you control and only to access the Club services made available through it. Do not copy, extract, reverse engineer, modify, redistribute or use the application to operate another club or competing service, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law or an applicable open-source license permits otherwise. Apple, Google and the applicable device provider may also impose separate terms on your download and use of the application.
3. Bookings, events and memberships
The review screen identifies the club, court/event, participants, time, duration, price, tax treatment and cancellation outcome. A booking is not confirmed until CourtBeam records the server-side confirmation state. Do not rely on a browser return from Stripe alone. You must follow club rules, arrive on time and provide any required participant information.
Memberships and event registrations may have eligibility and approval, capacity and waiver requirements. A club may offer a member event price or members-only event; a normal linked player does not need a paid membership to use enabled online court bookings. Do not attempt to obtain a restricted price or entitlement by changing a request or URL.
4. Payment, recurring charges and refunds
The club is the seller for club bookings, events and memberships when it uses direct Stripe Connect charges. Stripe processes the payment method. The amount, currency, tax, cancellation policy and refund policy shown at confirmation are the terms for that transaction, subject to mandatory law and the club’s published policy.
If a membership renews automatically, the review screen must state the amount, interval, renewal timing, cancellation method and any trial. You authorize renewal charges until cancelled through the disclosed method. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically reverse a completed period unless the club policy or applicable law requires it.
Eligible player cancellations may refund the card portion less actual payment-provider processing fees when that policy was disclosed and is lawful. Eligible club credit returns separately to the issuing club balance. Club cancellations under the current flow return the remaining card amount in full and restore eligible credit. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for timing, pending refunds and exceptions. There is no universal 24-hour free-cancellation promise.
Club credit is limited to its issuing club and currency and supported court/event purchases. It is not transferable between clubs or ordinarily redeemable for cash, subject to mandatory rights. It cannot currently pay for memberships, automatic waitlist charges or at-club card holds. A waitlist place is not a confirmed event place; review any separately presented promotion/payment authorization.
A failed, expired or disputed payment may release a reservation hold or suspend an entitlement. Refunds and partial refunds appear only after the server records the verified provider result. Court bookings, lessons, events, memberships and other services consumed at the Club are physical Club services. The Club or its payment provider may therefore collect payment by card, Apple Pay, Stripe Checkout or another payment method rather than an app-store digital purchase. Purchases of digital content or app-only functionality may be subject to different Apple or Google billing rules and will be identified before purchase.
5. Waiver, safety and assumption of risk
Before a protected booking, the club may require acceptance of a versioned waiver and terms. Read the club’s waiver carefully. Sports and venue use involve risks including falls, collisions, equipment failure, weather, illness and the acts of other participants. Follow safety instructions and stop when unsafe.
The club’s waiver may allocate risk and require releases to the extent permitted by applicable law. No waiver removes rights that law does not permit a club to waive, including certain gross-negligence, intentional-misconduct, consumer, accessibility or public-policy rights.
6. Conduct
Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, defraud or endanger others; use the venue for unlawful activity; damage property; evade capacity or payment rules; scrape private data; or interfere with CourtBeam, Stripe or club systems. The club may cancel participation or restrict access under its rules and law.
6A. Your content and permission to display it
You retain ownership of the text, images, logos, announcements and other content you submit to CourtBeam. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content and let CourtBeam use it as described here, including permission from other people where required.
You grant PicklePro Tech LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content, and to deliver it to the audiences you or your club select, only as needed to provide, secure and support CourtBeam. We may use our service providers for these purposes, subject to the Privacy Notice and any applicable Data Processing Addendum. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or authorize us to use it in unrelated advertising.
This license ends when the content is removed from the service, except for copies retained for a limited period in backups, to meet legal obligations or to resolve a dispute. Retained copies remain subject to the Privacy Notice and are not newly published to players. Reports, booking records and other records may be retained where required or permitted as explained in the Privacy Notice.
Do not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights. Contact support@courtbeam.com to report suspected infringement. We may restrict or remove content that violates these Terms.
You can report unlawful or infringing content to support@courtbeam.com or through an available in-product reporting tool. Identify the content and explain the issue without submitting unnecessary private information. CourtBeam may restrict or remove violating content and investigate reports; no promise is made to review every post before publication.
7. Privacy and communications
CourtBeam and the club process account, booking, waiver and contact information as described in the Privacy Notice and the club’s own notices. Transactional messages may be sent by email or SMS where necessary for sign-in, booking, payment, cancellation or safety. Marketing messages require the applicable consent or opt-out process. Do not put medical or other unnecessary sensitive information in notes.
8. Platform limitations and liability
CourtBeam does not own or operate the club, guarantee court availability, provide medical advice or insure a participant. The service is provided to the maximum extent permitted by law without implied warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourtBeam is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for injury, loss, damage or service failure caused by the club, venue, coach, participant, payment provider or event conditions. CourtBeam’s aggregate liability for a platform claim is limited to the greater of the amount paid directly to CourtBeam for the relevant service in the prior 12 months or $100. These exclusions and limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable fraud, intentional misconduct or death/personal injury caused by negligence protections. They do not release CourtBeam from its own non-waivable duties. Mandatory consumer warranties, remedies and local rights remain available.
9. Account closure and requests
You may request access, correction, export or deletion through the club or CourtBeam support. Full account deletion is available in account settings and applies across clubs; see the Account Deletion Guide. Deletion does not automatically issue refunds or erase records that must lawfully remain.
CourtBeam may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or a material violation. Where safe and lawful, it will explain the reason and provide a way to resolve or contest it through support. Suspension does not remove a statutory refund or privacy right.
Material changes to these Terms will receive reasonable notice and a stated effective date, with renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases. Ownership, applicable data duties, accrued obligations and dispute/liability provisions survive as needed to give them effect.
10. Disputes and contact
These Terms are governed by Wyoming law subject to mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, the state and federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms. You retain any mandatory right to use local courts or small-claims procedures. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
California consumers may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Information Center, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or (800) 952-5210. You may also contact CourtBeam directly using the details below. Nothing here restricts access to a regulator.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. Electronic notices may be sent to your account contact or displayed in the service, subject to applicable notice requirements.
