Configure your first booking policy

Set the rules that keep bookings fair for players and predictable for your team.

What a policy controls

A booking policy controls how far ahead players can book, the minimum notice required, the booking duration, cancellation timing, and whether payment can happen online or at the club.

A sensible starting point

  1. 1

Start with the same booking window for all players while your club learns the system.

  2. 2

Use a clear cancellation cutoff that your front desk can explain in one sentence.

  3. 3

Allow at-club payment only if your team has a reliable check-in process.

  4. 4

Create a separate membership policy later if members need earlier access or member pricing.

Explain the policy publicly

Players see policy information during booking. Write the rule in plain language and include what happens after the cutoff. Avoid relying on internal terms such as 'resource lock' or 'entitlement'.
